1. Delilah and Spence wanted a deck built onto their house. They wanted the deck to be a five sided shape with each side being 12 feet long. What is the perimeter of the deck?
2. The Providence Children’s Museum installed a fence around the perimeter of the property. The property is a rectangle. One side is 37 feet long, and the entire
perimeter is 164 feet. What are the measurements of the other three sides?
3. Jellystone Park, Hill Country, put in a new bounce pillow. It is rectangular shape with the longer side being 27 feet and the shorter side being 19 feet. What is the perimeter of the bounce pillow?
4. The Grand Canyon National Park has a new parking lot. The perimeter is 84 feet. The shape of the parking lot is a square. What is the length of each side?
5. Our new pool has been installed and we need to put up a fence. The pool is an
oval shape, but, the fencing will be rectangular. The two adjacent sides will be 17feet long and 26 feet long. What will the perimeter of the new fence be?
